Amid trade rumors linking him with a move away from the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>, wide receiver AJ Brown is one of the hottest names on the NFL’s trading block.<\/p>\n

Brown put in an incredibly poor performance in the NFC Wild Card round loss to the San Francisco 49ers<\/a>, with the receiver jawing at head coach Nick Sirianni and displaying overall negative body language.<\/p>\n

The day after the defeat, Brown cleaned out his locker and left without speaking to the media.<\/p>\n

It seems that all signs are pointing toward him making a swift exit from The City of Brotherly Love, with many teams rumored to be interested in his services.<\/p>\n

Enter the Buffalo Bills<\/a>. It’s gut check time in Orchard Park after quarterback Josh Allen turned the ball over four times in a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Denver Broncos<\/a> in the AFC Divisional round.<\/p>\n

The defeat cost head coach Sean McDermott his job, but has put a spotlight on Brandon Beane’s inability to build a good roster for Allen and Co.<\/p>\n

An unnamed NFL executive believes that AJ Brown could be a trade target for the Buffalo Bills<\/p>\n

Bills quarterback Josh Allen didn’t have many reliable targets, leading to a heartbreaking loss<\/p>\n

The playoff elimination cost Bills head coach Sean McDermott his job after multiple seasons<\/p>\n

Particularly, the offense lacked pass catchers. That’s where Brown could come in, with an unnamed NFL executive hinting to ESPN that the Bills could make a move for him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘The Bills have to upgrade there — their best receiver is Khalil Shakir, who is a nice player but he’s not a top guy,’ an NFL personnel evaluator told the outlet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Brown is an immediate upgrade and he’s still young [turning 29 in June]. And the Eagles can build the passing game around DeVonta Smith and a high draft pick.’<\/p>\n

Buffalo does have the requisite draft capital to pull off a move, owning all of their first-to-fifth round picks through 2028.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia could save about $7million in cap space if they trade Brown after June 1.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The outlet reports that other teams could make a move for him, including the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders and the aforementioned 49ers.<\/p>\n
