APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) \u2013 Before taking his first snap at Lambeau Field, Green Bay\u2019s newest first-round pick Matthew Golden will step up to the plate\u2014literally.<\/p>\n
Golden, a wide receiver selected 23rd overall in last month\u2019s NFL Draft, is among the headliners for the 25th Anniversary Green Bay Charity Softball Game, hosted by quarterback Jordan Love.<\/p>\n

The game will take place May 23 at Neuroscience Group Field in Appleton.<\/p>\n
This marks Golden\u2019s first public appearance with fans since being drafted, and he\u2019ll be joined by a lineup of teammates including tight end Tucker Kraft, Super Bowl champion cornerback Jarrett Bush, quarterbacks Malik Willis and Sean Clifford, safety Evan Williams, guard Donovan Jennings, and cornerback Tyron Herring.<\/p>\n
Packers legend and former event host Donald Driver, also a \u201cDancing with the Stars\u201d champion, will be on hand interacting with fans.<\/p>\n
The annual event supports Love\u2019s Hands of 10ve Foundation, which works to empower youth through sports, promote mental wellness, and build community trust in law enforcement.<\/p>\n
