The Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a> are hosting Atlanta Falcons<\/a> offensive coordinator Zac Robinson for an in-person interview, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported on Wednesday afternoon. Robinson spent the last two seasons as Atlanta’s playcaller but is not expected to join head coach Kevin Stefanski’s staff.<\/p>\n

The Falcons offense ranked 24th in points per game (20.8) last season but finished top 10 in rushing yards with 125.8 per contest. This is Robinson’s second interview with the Buccaneers, who fired offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard after one season in Tampa Bay.<\/p>\n

Considering Baker Mayfield’s recent comments<\/a> about Kevin Stefanksi, the Falcons-Bucs rivalry would only intensify if Robinson lands the job.<\/p>\n

“Still waiting on a text\/call from him after I got shipped off like a piece of garbage,” Mayfield posted about Stefanski on Tuesday. “Can\u2019t wait to see you twice a year, Coach.”<\/p>\n

Prior to coming to Atlanta, Robinson spent five years with the Los Angeles Rams<\/a>. He joined the team as an assistant quarterbacks coach and assistant wide receivers coach in 2019. Robinson was promoted to quarterbacks coach and pass-game coordinator in 2022, serving in that role for two seasons before coming to Atlanta in 2024.<\/p>\n

The Falcons interviewed Arizona Cardinals<\/a> pass-game coordinator\/WRs coach Drew Terrell<\/a> for their offensive coordinator job on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
