The Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> could be an unlikely beneficiary of the Buffalo Bills<\/a>‘ press conference horror show, with Keon Coleman one of the main storylines.<\/p>\n

Bills owner Terry Pegula stated it was the coaching staff, not general manager Brandon Beane, who signed off on the move, even though we know it to be a clear lie.<\/p>\n

Such was the press conference; it is clear Keon’s days in Buffalo are numbered. Even if the franchise wants him, Coleman has every right to want out.<\/p>\n

But where could he land?<\/p>\n

CBS Sports’ Jared Dubin thinks the Chiefs could be an option.<\/p>\n

“The Chiefs need a big-bodied outside receiver to complement Rashee Rice in the slot and Xavier Worthy as their speed option on the perimeter,” Dubin wrote<\/a>. “Coleman has largely struggled at the things he’d need to do to be an effective weapon for another team, but perhaps a change of scenery would help unlock more of what he showed during his time in college.<\/p>\n

“He’s not going to find many teams with an equivalent or better quarterback than Josh Allen, but Kansas City provides one of those options in Patrick Mahomes.”<\/p>\n

Could Coleman fit in KC?<\/p>\n

Of course he could.<\/p>\n

With Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy as the top weapons, Patrick Mahomes could do with a weapon who has the physicality to win on the outside.<\/p>\n

Of course, Keon does come with some off-field concerns, but the Chiefs’ culture is perhaps the best to deal with them and let Coleman grow as a player.<\/p>\n

With Juju Smith-Schuster and Marquise Brown as the other receivers, their futures are up in the air, so the Chiefs could look to go younger.<\/p>\n

And it is now clear that Coleman could be gettable after that train wreck of a press conference in Buffalo.<\/p>\n
