The two got married in April 2025. instagram\/sydney.mcconkey<\/p>\n<p>Ladd and Sydney have been dating since they were teenagers, and she was right by his side when the Chargers took him with the 34th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n<p>Months after the pick, in July 2024, the wide receiver proposed. In April 2025, they tied the knot.<\/p>\n<p>Ladd called their wedding date \u201cthe best day ever getting to marry my bestfriend!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The two will now have plenty of time to spot each other in the gym for at least the foreseeable future \u2014 as the Chargers\u2019 early exit from the playoffs means Ladd\u2019s got several weeks \u2019til he\u2019s got to be at OTAs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Ladd McConkey is clearly not the only McConkey hitting the weight room this NFL offseason.
