The Las Vegas<\/a> Raiders are expected to hire an offensive-minded head coach to pair with new quarterback Fernando Mendoza, according to reports.<\/p>\n

Mendoza is slated to be the first overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft after leading Indiana<\/a> to its first ever national championship. Brady was in Miami to watch the Hoosiers’ win over the Hurricanes.<\/p>\n

The Raiders hold the No 1 pick after a dreadful season under Pete Carroll, who was fired after just one year at the helm.<\/p>\n

Seven-time Super Bowl<\/a> champion Tom Brady<\/a> is a minority owner of Las Vegas and, according to Jordan Schultz<\/a>, the NFL legend is set to pick the new head coach alongside general manager John Spytek.<\/p>\n

Schultz claims that among the frontrunners for the Raiders job are offensive minds Klint Kubiak and Davis Webb.<\/p>\n

Kubiak serves as offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks<\/a>, while Webb is the Broncos’ offensive pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach who has guided the early stages of Bo Nix’s NFL career.<\/p>\n

Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is among the frontrunners to lead the Raiders<\/p>\n

Brady, meanwhile, is also in the second season of his 10-year, $375million deal as Fox’s lead NFL analyst. That has given him a close-up view of Kubiak’s offense in recent weeks, with Sunday’s Seahawks-Rams showdown set to be on Fox, too.<\/p>\n

Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter is another coach being linked with the vacancy but, according to Schultz, the Raiders are expected to make an offensive hire.<\/p>\n

With Carroll at the helm and Geno Smith under center, Las Vegas finished the 2025 regular season with a dismal record of 3-14.<\/p>\n

That is despite the Raiders having some of the most exciting young talents in the NFL including tight end Brock Bowers and running back Ashton Jeanty.<\/p>\n
