NFL general managers guard their draft boards at all costs, concealing their intended picks. Unless a franchise is deliberately trying to mislead the other 31 organizations, the Baltimore Ravens\u2019 <\/a>round-by-round selections in the 2025 NFL Draft<\/a>\u2014especially in the later rounds where teams fill out their rosters\u2014could have been revealed to the public.<\/p>\n

When ESPN<\/a> and the NFL Network<\/a> cut to a camera in the Ravens\u2019 war room, they showed front office personnel and coaches celebrating the selection of Georgia safety Malaki Starks. In the shot, a white board displayed several names with their corresponding rounds written in black and some players marked in red. On the board\u2019s right side were the names of local pro prospects.<\/p>\n

Another item caught on camera was a picture of a giraffe, which WFAN\u2019s Paul Rosenberg<\/a> said he wanted to learn more about. <\/p>\n

\u201cLMAO, ESPN just showed the entire Ravens draft board after Starks selection,\u201d Rosenberg posted on X\/Twitter. \u201cNot great. WTF \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02 (Need the story with the giraffe, though).\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time a team\u2019s draft board has been exposed. During the Giants\u2019 appearance on \u201cHard Knocks: Offseason with the Giants\u201d last summer, their board wasn\u2019t blurred, and several names were visible<\/a>\u2014from players flagged for character concerns to others with medical issues.<\/p>\n

How this will impact the Ravens draft remains to be seen. However, if that is their real draft board and it costs them a prospect they really wanted, you can bet they will put the camera somewhere else next year.<\/p>\n
