The ink hasn’t even dried from Tyron Smith’s one-day contract<\/a>, and the team has already handed out his No. 77 jersey to Saahdiq Charles, who recently signed with the Dallas Cowboys<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There are two schools of thought when it comes to jersey assignments. Some hold these numbers in high esteem based on the players who came before them. With the Dallas Cowboys<\/a> specifically, it is an honor to wear the number 88 as a wide receiver. Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin, Dez Bryant, and now CeeDee Lamb have all worn that number and played at a very high level.<\/p>\n
