Pelissero wasn\u2019t specific about what job Hood would\u2019ve interviewed for, calling it a \u201chigh-ranking staff position.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Hood has been the secondary coach in Atlanta for two seasons. Previously, he worked as a defensive quality control coach for the Green Bay Packers from 2021 to 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The Falcons had two safeties finish in the top 25 in the NFL in interceptions this past season, while another cornerback was 27th. As a team, the Falcons were sixth in the NFL with 16 receptions.
