Welcome back, Myles Bryant.<\/a><\/p>\n

According to KPRC 2 Sports’ Aaron Wilson<\/a>, the Houston Texans<\/a> are re-signing Bryant to a one-year deal ahead of mandatory training camp. Bryant should compete for special teams reps with third-round pick Jaylin Smith.<\/p>\n

A longtime New England Patriots<\/a> nickel defender and special-teams standout, Bryant appeared in 11 games for the Texans<\/a> and had 14 tackles. Based on snap counts, he saw action in 40 percent of the special teams snaps and 10 percent of the defensive snaps.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining the Texans, Bryant started 17 games in four seasons for the Patriots. He recorded four interceptions, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two sacks and 200 tackles. Bryant also broke up 17 passes.<\/p>\n
