Miami Dolphins<\/a> wide receiver Tyreek Hill<\/a> made his name with the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>. His prolific connection with Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes<\/a> was part of the foundation of the Chiefs dynasty, although they only won one Super Bowl<\/a> together before Hill was traded to Miami in 2022.<\/p>\n

Following his season-ending knee injury<\/a> in Week 4 against the New York Jets<\/a>, Hill has had little to do this season but watch from the sidelines and post his thoughts on social media \u2014 including plenty of comments about the Chiefs.<\/p>\n

The latest news to get a reaction from Hill was Kansas City’s decision to bring back former offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy<\/a>, who worked with the Chiefs from 2013 to 2022 and became the offensive coordinator in 2018. Hill’s rookie year was 2016, meaning Bieniemy was Hill’s coach for his final four years in Kansas City.<\/p>\n

Hill, 31, took to his official X account to share his five-word reaction to Bieniemy’s return to the Chiefs.<\/p>\n

“EB to the chiefs hm,” Hill posted on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

The cryptic message from the former Chiefs star generated more than 750,000 views and 280 comments in the first three hours.<\/p>\n

Naturally, many social media users thought Hill was hinting at his own potential return to Kansas City to reunite with Mahomes and Bieniemy \u2014 even though Hill made a virtually identical post<\/a> the day before about former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel joining a different AFC West team, the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hill still has a year left on his three-year, $90 million contract<\/a> with the Dolphins, which includes a $51.9 million cap hit in 2026. The Chiefs are projected to be $40 million over the salary cap next season, so taking on Hill’s contract is a non-starter.<\/p>\n

Either way, Hill’s reaction was the latest in a series of posts across social media from Chiefs stars who were coached by Bieniemy in the past.<\/p>\n

Mahomes expressed his excitement<\/a> for Bieniemy’s return via Instagram, while Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce<\/a>proclaimed<\/a> on his “New Heights” podcast, \u201cI can\u2019t wait to see him back in the building, he\u2019s one of my favorite coaches of all time.\u201d<\/p>\n
