However, McDermott\u2019s inability to get to a Super Bowl despite having Josh Allen plays a big role as to why the Bills are now looking for a new head coach<\/a>.<\/p>\n Early Wednesday morning, the Bills\u2019 candidates that they were interested in talking with were getting released. One of them is Brian Daboll who was Buffalo\u2019s offensive coordinator from 2018-2021. After helping Josh Allen become one of the best quarterbacks in the league during that time, Daboll became the head coach of the New York Giants but was fired in the middle of this past season.<\/p>\n The Bills officially interviewed<\/a> Daboll for the job yesterday, as he was the second candidate to talk with Buffalo behind Joe Brady, who is Buffalo\u2019s current offensive coordinator. It would make a lot of sense as to why Daboll could land this job.
