Despite being just days away from the biggest game of his season, Sean McVay\u2019s clearly remaining loose.<\/p>\n
During a meeting with media members on Friday, the Rams head coach was asked about turning 40 years old this weekend, and he cracked a joke that had the room in stitches.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you guys say, \u2018Happy 40th,’\u201d he said, \u201cI\u2019ll slap the s\u2014t out of you.\u201d<\/p>\n
He went on to say he\u2019s just \u201cnot a big birthday\u201d guy.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere\u2019s what I will say,\u201d McVay said. \u201cWhat\u2019s a good birthday? When I\u2019m working on my birthday and if I\u2019m working next week. That\u2019d be a hell of a birthday. That\u2019s the only present I want from you [reporter].\u201d<\/p>\n
While hilarious, it\u2019s hardly the first time McVay\u2019s age has been brought up among the media.<\/p>\n
He became the youngest head coach in league history when the Rams hired him at just 30 years old. He later went on to earn the title of youngest head coach to ever win a Super Bowl at 36.<\/p>\n

Entering a new decade on Saturday, though, has clearly hit just a bit of a different chord for him.<\/p>\n
But no matter the date on his driver\u2019s license, McVay\u2019s proved year after year he\u2019s a Hall of Fame-level coach. In his nine seasons with the Rams, he\u2019s notched a 92-57 record. He\u2019s also been to two Super Bowls, and is now just one more win over the Seahawks on Sunday from reaching his third.<\/p>\n
