Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid<\/p>\n
The Buffalo Bills<\/a> dealt with their fair share of injuries this season.<\/p>\n Offensively, the team was fortunate not to get hit as hard. Wide receiver Joshua Palmer missed 5 games and Curtis Samuel<\/a> 10 games.<\/p>\n Defensively, however, defensive tackle Ed Oliver missed 14 games with a pectoral injury, while linebackers Matt Milano and Terrel Bernard missed 5 games, cornerbacks Taron Johnson missed 4 games and Christian Benford 2 games, and safety Taylor Rapp<\/a> missed 11 games.<\/p>\n Dalton Kincaid Played Entire Season Injured GettyBuffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid<\/a><\/p>\n Though injuries limited him some during the season, tight end Dalton Kincaid was often quarterback Josh Allen\u2019s favorite target and arguably the team\u2019s top red-zone threat, which makes what fellow tight end Dawson Knox<\/a> said about Kincaid this week so impressive.<\/p>\n \u201c#Bills TE Dawson Knox stated that Dalton Kincaid played this season with a torn PCL. A source close to Kincaid confirmed what Knox said on @MMwithMitch\u2019s podcast saying Kincaid played the entire 2025 season with a torn PCL,\u201d Syracuse.com\u2019s Ryan Talbot reported on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kincaid\u2019s injured PCL \u2014 a stabilizing ligament that connects the femur to the tibia and prevents the shin bone from sliding backward \u2014 likely limited him from running at full speed and hindered his ability to cut and avoid tackles.<\/p>\n \u201cDalton has a torn PCL he was playing through,\u201d Knox said<\/a>. \u201cJust the amount of head, shoulders, knees and toes. Eyes and ears and mouth and nose, dude. Everything. I mean, it was easier to make a list of the things that didn\u2019t hurt on a lot of these guys.<\/p>\n \u201c\u2026 Guys that were able to kind of put their bodies on the line. Even if they were already hurt, to give whatever boost they could to this team to help us win games.\u201d<\/p>\n It was also the same injury that he suffered back in November of last season that flared up again this year. He rehabbed his PCL during the offseason, though it resurfaced during training camp.<\/p>\n The former first-round pick missed Buffalo\u2019s Week 6 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons<\/a> with an oblique injury, and he missed three more games later in the season with a thigh\/hamstring injury in addition to battling his PCL ailment.<\/p>\n Kincaid Named to Pro Bowl Roster<\/p>\n Despite the news of his injury, Kincaid got some good news on Friday.<\/p>\n After Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> tight end Travis Kelce withdrew from the Pro Bowl games, it was announced that Kincaid would take his place on the roster. It\u2019s his first career Pro Bowl selection.<\/p>\n Conversely, Kincaid joins two teammates \u2014 Allen, running back James Cook<\/a>, and left tackle Dion Dawkins \u2014 as 2026 Pro Bowlers. The event will be held on Tuesday, February 3 at 8 p.m. ET at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.<\/p>\n Despite playing four fewer games than Bills\u2019 leading receiver Khalil Shakir<\/a>, who totaled 72 catches on 95 targets for 719 yards and 4 touchdowns, Kincaid wasn\u2019t far behind.<\/p>\n The 26-year-old TE caught 39 passes on 49 targets for 571 yards and a career-high 5 touchdowns.
