The veteran defensive lineman notched 50 or more pressures in five consecutive seasons from 2020 to 2024, per Pro Football Focus. Granted, 2025 was a down year for him with just 39 pressures, but that was still good enough to crack the top-20 among interior pass-rushers. Additionally, JFM was used as a defensive tackle more frequently this season, tying a career high with 156 snaps (out of 516 total) when lined up in the B-gap, which helps explain the dip in production. He could bring inside-outside pass-rush versatility to the Raiders’ defense.

Previously: CB Ja’Quan McMillian

New England Patriots: Edge K’Lavon Chaisson

<img alt="LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - DECEMBER 22: Defensive end K’Lavon Chaisson #44 of the Las Vegas Raiders gets set during an NFL football game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, at Allegiant Stadium on December 22, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chaisson is likely one of the players the general manager was referring to, as the former Raider outdid his career year in 2024 this season by posting new career highs in sacks and pressures (54, per PFF). The former Jacksonville Jaguars’ first-round pick is set to hit the open market again this spring, and Las Vegas is going to need pass-rush help regardless of Maxx Crosby’s status with the team moving forward. Maybe Spytek corrects a mistake and brings Chaisson back to Sin City.

Previously: S Jaylinn Hawkins

Seattle Seahawks: WR Rashid Shaheed

2025 Stats: 59 catches, 687 yards, 2 TDs, 2 return TDs (1 kick, 1 punt)

Age: 27 (turns 28 in August)

If the Raiders hire Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as head coach, look for them to pursue Shaheed in free agency. It’s no secret that the Silver and Black’s wide receiver room could use a boost, and those two worked together briefly with the New Orleans Saints in 2024 before reuniting again in Seattle during this year’s trade deadline. Not only would the four-year pro bring speed to Vegas’ offense, but he’s also a two-time Pro Bowler and a 2023 first-team All-Pro as a returner.

Previously: S Coby Bryant

Los Angeles Rams: S Kamren Curl

2025 Stats: 122 tackles, 2 INTs, 5 PDs, 2 sacks, 2 TFLs

Age: 26 (turns 27 in March)

For the first four years of his career with the Washington Commanders, Curl was primarily a box safety who could provide run support. However, he’s expanded his role in Los Angeles, logging a career-high 662 snaps (out of 1,112 total) at free safety, per PFF. Also, Curl made several plays in coverage this season, posting decent ball production and ranking tied for fourth among safeties with 19 coverage stops. And he was still a factor in the running game, finishing seventh at the position with a career-high 84.7 PFF run defense grade.
