There are a few certainties in life: don\u2019t spit in the wind, don\u2019t tug on Superman\u2019s cape, and don\u2019t desecrate the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a>\u2019 Terrible Towel. But it appears Toro, the Houston Texans<\/a> mascot, had to learn this lesson the hard way following his decision to tear the towel in half a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n In a hilarious video posted to social media on Friday, Toro attempted to undo the curse he clearly invoked on the Texans with the use of tape, staples, and hot glue on the two pieces of the ripped Terrible Towel.<\/p>\n After the Texans\u2019 Wild Card win over the Steelers<\/a> on January 12, Toro ripped a Terrible Towel in half, which may have played a huge part in C.J. Stroud\u2019s struggles, as he finished the contest with four interceptions.<\/p>\n One of the more recent examples of the curse occurred in 2023, as the Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> were struck after safety Andrew Wingard stole a few Terrible Towels and waved them in mockery of the Steelers.
