The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> have not made many moves forward with their search for a new head coach. While other teams announce their interviews, the Cardinals leave us with nothing but national reports.<\/p>\n

However, we might have a little insight as to who are the coaches in play to replace Jonathan Gannon.<\/p>\n

Who is still in the mix for the Cardinals’ head coaching vacancy?<\/p>\n

Thanks to two reporters, we can pull together three guys as potential finalists.<\/p>\n

ESPN’s Adam Schefter appeared on the Pat McAfee Show<\/a> and said he believes that Rams<\/a> offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur and former Atlanta Falcons defensive head coach Raheem Morris.<\/p>\n

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler followed that up on X\/Twitter<\/a>, saying that Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile is “firmly in the mix coming out of his in-person interview with the team this week.”<\/p>\n

LaFleur and Morris create an interesting possibility \u2014 could the Cardinals hire LaFleur as a first-time head coach and make Morris his defensive coordinator? They worked together in 2023 on the Rams. It was LaFleur’s first year as their OC, and it was Morris’ final season as DC before getting hired by Atlanta as their head coach.<\/p>\n

If the Rams lose on Sunday, we will see if LaFleur is a real possibility.<\/p>\n
