It’s a big weekend in New England. While much of the focus is rightfully on the Patriots and their matchup with the Broncos in the AFC Championship game, it will be important to monitor the weather.<\/p>\n
DENVER <\/p>\n
The forecast there has changed a bit through the week here as colder air is going to be moving in. Highs will only be in the teens during the kickoff, which is set for 3 p.m. ET. It will likely be only 17 degrees, so that cold air might be a little bit of a factor.<\/p>\n
\t\t<\/p>\n
There could even be some snow showers rolling through the Denver area. Some models call for a few scattered snow showers in and around the Denver area. <\/p>\n
The snow doesn’t look particularly heavy, but it could be enough to make the ball a little bit slick and it could give ball-carriers some trouble with their footing. <\/p>\n
NEW HAMPSHIRE<\/p>\n
Back here at home, if you’re going to any watch parties, expect very heavy snowfall. <\/p>\n

The snow will look to move in beginning around noon on Sunday for the southern areas of the state. For the drive before the game, it looks fine by 2 p.m. It’s more of a low threat.<\/p>\n
By the start of the game at 3 p.m., almost everyone in the state will be seeing snow <\/p>\n
Through the game, if you’re watching it over at someone’s house or at a restaurant, the snow will be accumulating on the roads at that time.<\/p>\n
By 6 p.m. after the game, when you’re heading back out, there could be some very heavy snowfall, particularly through the southern part of the state. Expect high travel impacts. <\/p>\n
