However, he says there isn\u2019t much buzz about Daboll and Philadelphia at this point in time.<br \/>\nAnother candidate to watch for the Eagles is Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doyle.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6989769\/2026\/01\/22\/john-harbaugh-new-york-giants-coaching-staff\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dan Duggan of The Athletic<\/a>, Giants\u2019 new HC John Harbaugh spent Wednesday meeting with New York\u2019s holdover assistant coaches. Duggan writes that Harbaugh is expected to fill most of his staff with former Ravens assistants and a \u201cfew\u201d holdovers from the Giants.<br \/>\nDuggan writes that \u201call signs point\u201d to Todd Monken following Harbaugh as his offensive coordinator, if the Browns don\u2019t hire him as head coach.\u00a0<br \/>\nAs for former Ravens DC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/O\/OrrxZa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-01-23_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Zach Orr<\/a>, Duggan could see him becoming New York\u2019s inside linebackers coach if Harbaugh doesn\u2019t bring him on as defensive coordinator.\u00a0<br \/>\nDuggan views Dolphins DC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WeavAn20.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-01-23_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Anthony Weaver<\/a> as a \u201cstrong candidate\u201d for the Giants\u2019 DC role.\u00a0<br \/>\nDuggan lists other defensive coordinator candidates, including Vikings defensive pass game coordinator Daronte Jones, Chiefs DL coach Joe Cullen, and Broncos defensive pass game coordinator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/L\/LeonJi23.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-01-23_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jim Leonhard<\/a>.<br \/>\nDuggan mentions the following Ravens position coaches as \u201cstrong possibilities\u201d to follow Harbaugh: QBs coach Tee Martin, RBs coach Willie Taggart, DL coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JohnDe02.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-01-23_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dennis Johnson<\/a>, and offensive assistant Danny Breyer.<br \/>\nDuggan could see former Ravens and Chargers OC Greg Roman being a candidate for run-game coordinator.\u00a0<br \/>\nAccording to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47674143\/2026-nfl-offseason-rankings-offensive-defensive-coordinator-openings-intel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> ESPN\u2019s Jeremy Fowler<\/a>, the Giants\u2019 offensive coordinator job is \u201cconsidered Todd Monken\u2019s to lose.\u201d Fowler says that Monken is currently sorting through his options, which include the Browns head-coaching job and the Dolphins offensive coordinator position.<br \/>\nFowler also doesn\u2019t get the sense that Harbaugh will look to bring Orr with him to New York. Fowler mentions Weaver and Jones as some names to watch for the Giants as well.<\/p>\n<p>The Giants landed the top head coach on the market in John Harbaugh. During his introductory press conference, Harbaugh made clear that he sought the role to work in the \u201cbiggest stage in the biggest sport.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted this job,\u201d Harbaugh said, via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/news\/new-giants-hc-john-harbaugh-excited-to-work-with-jaxson-dart-i-wanted-this-job\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NFL.com<\/a>. \u201cI think I told you that, Mr. Mara: I wanted this job, and to be on the biggest stage in the biggest sport. I know the challenges; I understand the expectations, I know the fans are hungry for a winner. We\u2019re here with one mission: to become, to earn the right to be called the world champions in New York. And that\u2019s what we plan to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before his 18 years as the Ravens\u2019 head coach, Harbaugh was an assistant coach under Andy Reid during his time with the Eagles. Harbaugh reflected on Reid\u2019s words to him, saying, \u201cChange can be good.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAndy is a man of few words and his four words to me were: \u2018Change can be good.\u2019 That\u2019s what he said,\u201d Harbaugh said. \u201cChange can be good. He was excited. He\u2019s fired up for us. He\u2019s a good friend. How about we do this. We\u2019ll sign up for that deal right now, what he did in Kansas City. Let\u2019s do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Working with QB <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DartJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-01-21_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jaxson Dart<\/a> was another draw for Harbaugh. He\u2019s \u201cexcited\u201d to coach the quarterback going into his second year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt starts with the quarterback for sure,\u201d Harbaugh said. \u201cYou build your team around your quarterback. You build your team around your players and what they do well. I like the way he plays. I like his talent, skill set, all the things he\u2019s accomplished. But more than that I like who he is and what he\u2019s about. To me, he\u2019s about football. This young guy loves football. He wants to talk football all the time. That\u2019s what I liked doing, too. So we\u2019re going to have a lot of great conversations.
