I haven\u2019t agreed with the decision made for the Tennessee Titans in all of them, but until today, I have seen a scenario where the guy picked in the mock could be the guy picked in April by the Titans. Daniel Jeremiah changed all of that with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/news\/daniel-jeremiah-2026-nfl-mock-draft-1-0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">his first mock draft<\/a> of the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Jeremiah has the Titans taking Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami, with the fourth pick of the draft. Could the Titans afford to upgrade at tackle this offseason? Sure, but they are paying Dan Moore a lot of money to play left tackle and have a young, improving player at JC Latham at right tackle. There is no shot they spent the fourth pick in the draft on a left tackle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Another crazy thing here is that the Titans make this pick with both Rueben Bain Jr and David Bailey still on the board. Look, there is a case to be made for always taking the best player available, but with the Titans current roster, they would be crazy to spend the fourth pick in the 2026 NFL Draft on an offensive tackle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Here are Jeremiah\u2019s comments on the Mauigoa pick for the Titans:<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup _1teeyfa8 ls9zuh1\">This offseason is about helping Cam Ward take the next step, and that starts with doing a better job of protecting him.
