The Pats and Seahawks will face off in Super Bowl LX on Sunday, Feb. 8, in Santa Clara, California.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"4JIRPCN765HYFCOUO56W3SU2JU\">Syracuse University alumni on the Patriots include offensive line coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/orangefootball\/2024\/03\/former-syracuse-football-coach-doug-marrone-taking-job-at-boston-college-report.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/orangefootball\/2024\/03\/former-syracuse-football-coach-doug-marrone-taking-job-at-boston-college-report.html\">Doug Marrone<\/a>, who was an offensive lineman for SU and later became the Orange head coach from 2009 to 2012. (Photo by Bailey Hillesheim\/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images)Icon Sportswire via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"ZOGWVLGYPBBK7NPVWPIW3KNGHQ\">*****<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"HH4QOEMGX5GDBDOZZIMYLGVYIQ\">The Patriots\u2019 roster also includes former Syracuse quarterback <a href=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/orangefootball\/2025\/09\/how-tommy-devito-is-bringing-italian-swagger-to-patriots-qb-room.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/orangefootball\/2025\/09\/how-tommy-devito-is-bringing-italian-swagger-to-patriots-qb-room.html\">Tommy DeVito<\/a>, a.k.a. \u201cTommy Cutlets.\u201d DeVito, who played college ball for both Syracuse and Illinois, became a backup QB to breakout star Drake Maye after two years with the New York Giants, becoming a fan favorite when he briefly became a starter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"WRBQDE2NRBH27M4F5W7LSOKWKU\">He recently starred in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rhWo6IrPbi0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rhWo6IrPbi0\">Progressive Insurance commercial<\/a> as a \u201cbackup\u201d for multiple real-life situations, such as replacing a dad in family photos. He did not play any snaps in 2025, his first season with New England.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"B6CLFOBW5FFCJAVFDRDEHLBKPU\">\u201cLFGGGGGG,\u201d DeVito wrote in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stories\/tommydevito\/3818245861059482675\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stories\/tommydevito\/3818245861059482675\/\">Instagram Story<\/a> after the Patriots\u2019 victory Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"ZBKZPDDTDJFF5CZCNZNC3J26MY\">*****<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"5XBNVSB7IFFIDHSN2I7VHKPLNI\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/orangefootball\/2025\/02\/former-syracuse-football-player-hired-as-seahawks-offensive-assistant.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/orangefootball\/2025\/02\/former-syracuse-football-player-hired-as-seahawks-offensive-assistant.html\">Justin Outten<\/a>, a former Syracuse center who began his coaching career as a graduate assistant with SU, is a run game specialist and assistant offensive line coach for the Seahawks. He was at SU from 2019-2022 before transferring to Arkansas State for two seasons.
