He spent five seasons in Kansas City, four of them as quarterbacks coach, helping Patrick Mahomes win a Super Bowl.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-7zszsu-0 ggPTvK body-paragraph\">The Lions had expressed interest in Kafka before this announcement, having interviewed him for their vacant offensive coordinator position.
