But between the plays, Maye was seen touching his right shoulder pad and rotating his arm after the hit \u2014 raising speculation that he suffered an injury during the play.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Making his weekly appearance on WEEI on Tuesday, Maye downplayed any potential injury.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cI\u2019m feeling good,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019ve got in some extra rest. Really, I don\u2019t think it\u2019s from the game. I think just the buildup of almost, including training camp, 30 weeks straight of throwing and four days a week. It can add up. But I got some extra rest and I\u2019m feeling good and ready to go for the Super Bowl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">As the Patriots have two weeks to prepare for Super Bowl LX against the Seahawks, the team\u2019s first practice of the week will take place on Thursday. When asked if he\u2019d be limited in any fashion leading up to or in the game, Maye stated it was \u201ctoo early to say.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">He then added: \u201cRight now I\u2019m feeling good and looking forward to getting out there and preparing for the Seahawks and prepping to get ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.patspulpit.com\/new-england-patriots-injuries\/120655\/mike-vrabel-drake-maye-injury-super-bowl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Speaking earlier on Tuesday<\/a>, head coach Mike Vrabel claimed Maye did not hurt his shoulder and that internet speculation was \u201cprobably\u201d blown out of proportion. Vrabel did reiterate numerous times, however, that no player is 100 percent healthy at this point of the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cAgain, this is a sport where there\u2019s going to be things that come up, but I don\u2019t think that there\u2019s a \u2014 we\u2019ll talk about whatever status each player has for the game once we\u2019re required to,\u201d he said. \u201cWe understand that. But we were able to function offensively, throw the football, run the football.
