NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford wasted no time in getting back to daddy mode after the Los Angeles Rams lost the NFC Championship game.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter was crying after the game in my arms and saying, \u2018Dad, I feel so bad for you,\u2019\u201d Stafford, 37, recalled on the Monday, January 26, episode of SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cLet\u2019s Go<\/a>\u201d podcast. \u201cI told her, \u2018You know what? Don\u2019t feel bad for me. My life\u2019s a blessing. I get to play this game. I\u2019ve gotten to play it for 17 years.\u2019 I got four little girls that are cheering me on, a beautiful wife that\u2019s doing the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

Matthew \u2014 who is married to Kelly Stafford<\/a> \u2014 arrived home on Monday, January 26, after his Rams team lost 27 to 31 against the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL playoffs the night before.<\/p>\n

Kelly, 36, shared a glimpse<\/a> into her husband\u2019s role away from the football field when she posted two videos of Nest camera footage inside their house.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDespite her husband being the starting quarterback of the Los Angeles Rams, Kelly Stafford is still struggling with getting tickets to his games on her phone. Following the Rams\u2019 dramatic 20-17 win over the Chicago Bears in the NFL Divisional Playoffs on Sunday, January 18, Kelly lamented about how much effort it took to even [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter a hard fought NFC Championship game, Matthew Stafford still made sure to tuck his daughters in when he got home at 2:30 AM,\u201d she wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, with video of her husband kissing his daughters Sawyer, 8, Chandler, 8, Hunter, 7, and Tyler, 5.<\/p>\n

Although it was hard for Matthew to lose the football game that would have secured his team a spot in Super Bowl LX<\/a>, his family quickly reminded him of what matters most.<\/p>\n

\u201cSports and football, in particular, are difficult at times, but it also gives me the opportunity to teach my kids and be something for them,\u201d he shared. \u201cI could sit there and be like, \u2018Man, I feel like I played good and we didn\u2019t win and this happened and that happened,\u2019 but it\u2019s like, no. Have the courage to go put yourself out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Matthew continued, \u201cLive with the results and learn from them. It was a moment in time that I\u2019ll never forget just being able to talk to her in that moment and bring her back from tears but also saying it to her and also saying it to myself at the same time. It\u2019s a special thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the Los Angeles Rams\u2019 football season may be over, the Seattle Seahawks are headed to Santa Clara, California, to face off against the New England Patriots at Super Bowl 60.<\/p>\n

One dad Matthew can\u2019t help but root for is his former Rams teammate and current Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp.<\/p>\n

\u201cCooper is a great friend in life for me,\u201d Matthew shared in his latest podcast interview<\/a>. \u201cI went and grabbed him [after the game] and just told him good luck and hope he wins another one because he deserves it. I\u2019m happy for him. I\u2019m happy for his boys, his wife and his family.\u201d<\/p>\n
