Veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will be a free agent over the offseason, and at 33 years old, he wants to continue his career.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen where Hopkins will sign, but if he had his way, he would re-sign with the Baltimore Ravens<\/a>.<\/p>\n

DeAndre Hopkins wants to re-sign with Ravens for 2026 season<\/p>\n

Hopkins spent the 2025 season in Baltimore after the Ravens signed him to a on-year deal in free agency last offseason.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love Baltimore, I think the city is great, the people and fans are amazing, organization is amazing, why wouldn\u2019t I want to come back?\u201d Hopkins said<\/a> during a recent appearance on Up and Adams. \u201cI would love to play with Lamar [Jackson] again. I don\u2019t know the last time I played with a quarterback two years in a row.\u201d<\/p>\n

Getting an opportunity to continue playing with Jackson is a big selling point for Hopkins, who feels like he developed some solid chemistry with the star quarterback last season.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously Lamar and I had a great connection,\u201d Hopkins said. \u201cI think when he came to me I might have been Top 10 in productive receivers in the NFL when the ball came my way.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, while Hopkins would like to remain with the Ravens, he understands the business of football, and with a new coaching staff in place in Baltimore, he knows there might not be a spot for him on the roster.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reality of it, having a new offensive coordinator, being an older guy, I know football and I know how the business side works,\u201d Hopkins said. \u201cI would love to come back, but not every offensive coordinator is wanting a veteran receiver on their team. Some guys have different dynamics of how they go about coaching. It\u2019s nothing personal.\u201d<\/p>\n

At this point in his career, Hopkins’ days of being a top receiver in the league are likely behind him. However, he can still be a productive player on the field and a solid veteran presence in the locker room. If the Ravens don’t want to bring him back, he’ll almost assuredly land somewhere else.<\/p>\n
