Jim Harbaugh has assembled his new crew of coordinators.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Chargers have agreed to terms with Western Michigan defensive coordinator Chris O’Leary to become their new DC, the team announced late Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

O’Leary is replacing Jesse Minter, who was hired<\/a> as the Baltimore Ravens’ new head coach. O’Leary previously worked under Minter as the Chargers safeties coach in 2024.<\/p>\n

At Western Michigan, O’Leary’s defense helped the team to a 10-4 record and a first-ever Mid American Conference Championship.<\/p>\n

Prior to his previous season with the Bolts, O’Leary spent six years at Norte Dame in various roles.<\/p>\n

During O’Leary’s single season with the Chargers, L.A. boasted the No. 1 NFL defense in points allowed. Last year, the Chargers were a top-10 D in points and yards allowed.<\/p>\n

Harbaugh’s no doubt hoping O’Leary can pick up where Minter left off.<\/p>\n
