Linebacker Ernest Jones IV, a key member of Seattle\u2019s \u201cDark Side\u201d defense, was listed on the team\u2019s injury report for Wednesday as a non-participant in practice with a chest injury. The injury report was an estimation, as the Seahawks did not actually hold a practice.<\/p>\n
The 26-year-old Jones has been generally healthy this season, especially compared to 2024 when he had lingering elbow and knee concerns throughout the year. He has been on injury reports for illness and rest reasons over the past month, but had not been listed with an injury designation since he missed a pair of games in November with a knee issue.<\/p>\n
Jones tied for second in the NFL<\/a> in the regular season with five interceptions in 15 games. He also tied for 18th in the league with 126 total tackles.<\/p>\n Reserve offensive tackle Amari Kight was the only Seahawks player listed as a DNP on Wednesday\u2019s practice report.<\/p>\n Linebacker Chazz Surratt, who was designated to return from injured reserve last week from an ankle injury, was listed as a full participant.<\/p>\n Seattle had nine players listed as limited, including quarterback Sam Darnold with the oblique injury he\u2019s dealt without throughout the playoffs.
