Studesville survived multiple coaching changes \u2014 first joining Miami in 2017 and coaching under Adam Gase, Brian Flores and Mike McDaniel \u2014 but will now head elsewhere following a major shakeup within Miami\u2019s staff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Betts \u2014 a former 2002 second round pick of the Washington Redskins \u2014 was a standout running back at the University of Iowa for four seasons from 1998 through 2001. His 3,686 career rushing yards still places him second all time for the Hawkeyes. He played eight seasons in Washington before finishing his NFL career with one season in New Orleans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Betts began his coaching career in the high school ranks, but rejoined the Iowa Hawkeyes as their running backs coach from 2021 to 2024.
