While it hasn’t looked like the Arizona Cardinals<\/a> have had much of a plan with their search for a new head coach, we now know the reason why, despite having had second interviews with Anthony Campanile, Anthony Weaver and Mike LaFleur, there is no new coach hired.<\/p>\n According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini<\/a>, the Cardinals advised the candidates they were considering that there was still one candidate to interview.<\/p>\n That candidate is Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak. The Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> are set to interview him in person on Saturday in Seattle. Kubiak is considered the favorite to land the job with the Raiders, but the Cardinals are still interested.<\/p>\n That apparently was enough for Campanile to get a new deal with the Jaguars<\/a> to return as defensive coordinator, or perhaps he was told he was no longer being considered.<\/p>\n The Cardinals are one of two teams, along with the Raiders, still searching for a head coach. Eight other teams have already made their decisions.<\/p>\n Need a news break?
