The Detroit Lions<\/a> signed former Chicago Bears<\/a> tight end Thomas Gordon to a Reserve\/Future contract on Thursday.<\/p>\n Gordon, a 6-foot-5, 255-pound tight end out of Northwestern, just completed his rookie season in the Windy City. The Bears<\/a> signed Gordon as an undrafted free agent at the beginning of August ahead of this past season, but Gordon failed to make Chicago’s 53-man roster exiting training camp.<\/p>\n Chicago would sign Gordon to its practice squad on Dec. 24, 2025, for the final two weeks of the regular season and for its pair of postseason games.
