SEATTLE are nursing a host of injuries as they prepare for Super Bowl LX.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks<\/a> face the New England Patriots in the NFL\u2019s annual showpiece on February 8.<\/p>\n

Mike Macdonald\u2019s men enjoyed a stunning regular season. <\/p>\n

The Seahawks (14-3) clinched the NFC crown with a thrilling 31-27 win over the Los Angeles Rams<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n

A number of stars emerged from that contest nursing bruised and battered bodies. <\/p>\n

Both the Seahawks and Patriots<\/a> had to compile an injury report on Thursday. <\/p>\n

There was no practice for either team, with the report an estimate.<\/p>\n

Linebacker Ernest Jones IV was a surprise DNP [did not practice] with a chest injury. <\/p>\n

Jones finished the Rams<\/a> win with eight total tackles and showed no outward sign of injury. <\/p>\n

Offensive tackle Amari Kight was also a DNP with a knee injury. <\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMost read in American Football\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

He was inactive against LA and is a serious doubt for the Super Bowl<\/a> in Santa Clara. <\/p>\n

The Seahawks also had a host of players listed as limited participants.<\/p>\n

Among them was quarterback Sam Darnold<\/a>, who has enjoyed another superb season.<\/p>\n

Darnold has thrown for 470 yards across two postseason games, adding 4 touchdowns and no interceptions.<\/p>\n

The injury report lists him as limited with an oblique issue<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Darnold was nursing the problem going into the Rams game and his status for the Super Bowl is not believed to be at threat. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think we were all more panicked in what was going on than he was,\u201d general manager John Schneider said of Darnold\u2019s injury. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe was kind of looking at us like we had three heads, like, \u2018What\u2019s everybody so worried about?\u2019 <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s like, \u2018I\u2019ll be good.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Also limited on Thursday were Charles Cross (foot), fullback Robbie Ouzts (neck), wide receiver Jake Bobo (hand), offensive tackle Josh Jones (ankle, knee), fullback Brady Russell (hand), and tight end Eric Saubert (hamstring).<\/p>\n

Defensively, only safety Julian Love (shoulder) and linebacker Drake Thomas (shoulder) were listed as limited.<\/p>\n

Injuries at this stage of the season are expected, with the majority of the stars listed by the Seahawks on Thursday expected to suit up on February 8.<\/p>\n
