The Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> are set to hire New Orleans Saints assistant offensive line coach Jahri Evans<\/a> in a role on Mike McCarthy\u2019s staff. Evans played for McCarthy while he was in Green Bay back in 2017.<\/p>\n

He has been a coach for four years, starting as an intern with the Saints and rising up over the years to become their assistant offensive line coach. Evans has been seen as a rise among the league.<\/p>\n

It is unknown just what Evans\u2019 title will be, as coming to be the team\u2019s assistant offensive line coach would be a lateral move. The Steelers are already set to hire decorated offensive line coach James Campen onto their staff.<\/p>\n

The Philadelphia native played at Bloomsburg University from 2002 to 2005 before being a fourth-round pick by the Saints, where he played from 2006 to 2015. During that time, he was named to the 2010s All-Decade team, made five All-Pros, and is considered one of the best guards to ever play the game.<\/p>\n

Evans has consistently been a Hall of Fame finalist over the years, and is part of the Saints Hall of Fame.
