John Harbaugh has a big choice to make as he decides on the New York Giants\u2019 next offensive coordinator. He may be able to land a former head coach to do the job for him.<\/p>\n

Former Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury is \u201cexpected to be in the mix\u201d for the Giants\u2019 offensive coordinator job, according to Jordan Ranaan of ESPN<\/a>. The Giants also considered Kingsbury in their head coach search before going with Harbaugh.<\/p>\n

The Giants will likely be attracted to the success Kingsbury had in Washington with Jayden Daniels in 2024. Kingsbury helped turn Daniels into a rising star, and the quarterback was thought to be unhappy<\/a> with his offensive coordinator\u2019s departure. With Jaxson Dart in the fold, the Giants will want an offense coordinator who can deliver similar results.<\/p>\n

Kingsbury and the Commanders parted ways at the end of the season, but he unexpectedly has yet to find a new job. He got looks from a few teams<\/a> as a head coach candidate, but never seemed to be among the finalists for any of those positions.<\/p>\n

Kingsbury went 28-37-1 as a head coach with Arizona from 2019 to 2022.
