New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch has spoken out after emails released by the Department of Justice on Friday showed him discussing multiple women with Jeffrey Epstein in 2013.<\/p>\n

Correspondence between the two came to light on Friday when more than three million documents related to the late pedophile financier were released.<\/p>\n

In a statement provided to Daily Mail, Tisch said: ‘We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Epstein killed himself in a New York jail cell in August 2019, a month after he was indicted on federal sex trafficking charges.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The emails between Tisch, a prominent Hollywood film producer, and Epstein show the pair discussing a number of women and organizing meetings with them, according to The Athletic.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Tisch produced the iconic Tom Hanks movie ‘Forrest Gump’, as well as a number of other hits<\/p>\n

Tisch also offered Epstein tickets to watch a Giants game in his suite and extended invitations to others. Epstein also invited Tisch to come to his private Caribbean island, although it’s unclear if he ever went.<\/p>\n

In May 2013, Epstein emailed Tisch, 76, while he was sat in an NFL meeting before their conversation continued later in the day.<\/p>\n

‘I can invite the (Russian) \u2026 to meet if you like,’ Epstein wrote. ‘Is she fun?’ Tisch replied just a minute later.<\/p>\n

A month later, Tisch contacted Epstein about a specific woman, to which he replied: ‘(Tahitian) speaks mostly french exotic’<\/p>\n

Tisch wrote back asking if she was a ‘working girl?’ before Epstein replied ‘never’.<\/p>\n

Later in June 2013 when seemingly discussing a different woman, Tisch asked Epstein: ‘Is my present in NYC?’<\/p>\n

Epstein replied ‘Yes’ and Tisch emailed again the following morning to ask: ‘Can I get my surprise to take me to lunch tomorrow?’<\/p>\n

In a separate conversation, Epstein asked Tisch if he had reached out to ‘the great a** fake t** (name redacted) she’s a character, short term, has an older boyfriend going to acting school, a 10 ass.’<\/p>\n

Tisch replied: ‘Thanks Jeffrey. Curious to know about (name redacted). I will contact (name redacted)\u2026 pro or civilian?’<\/p>\n

Epstein said back: ‘civilian, but Russian, and rarely tells the full truth, but fun.’<\/p>\n

After Tisch had seemingly met up with one of Epstein’s women, he passed on her feedback about the Giants exec.<\/p>\n

Epstein wrote: ‘report just in, you did very well, she wants to go to the play, she is a little freaked by the age difference but go slow \u2026 i will try to convince her not to return to Ukraine. having her crying worked.’<\/p>\n

Tisch said in response: ‘Nice report \u2026 Funny comment on crying!!!’<\/p>\n

The emails also show that some of Epstein’s women were hoping to use Tisch to get a foothold in the movie business.<\/p>\n

‘Gonna meet Steve Tisch next week for a dinner,’ one wrote to Epstein. ‘He said that he gonna work on 3 movies starting June. So I’ll ask if I can read scripts and maybe audition for some part.’<\/p>\n

Tisch is a producer and partner at Escape Artists Entertainment. He produced the iconic Tom Hanks movie ‘Forrest Gump’, as well as other critically-acclaimed hits like ‘Snatch’, ‘American History X’ and ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’.<\/p>\n

The Mara and Tisch families own 45 per cent of the Giants franchise, with the other 10 per cent acquired by the Koch family last year.<\/p>\n

During their ownership, the Giants have won two Super Bowls. But in recent years the franchise has struggled and they have made the playoffs just twice in 14 seasons.<\/p>\n
