The Rush<\/a>, Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby gave great praise to Will Howard.<\/p>\n\u201cI\u2019m a Will Howard believer, I\u2019m not gonna lie,\u201d Crosby said. \u201cI think he\u2019s a helluva player. I think Will Howard\u2019s got the size, he\u2019s got the intangibles, he\u2019s talented, he\u2019s a smart quarterback. I think Will Howard just sitting there, learning behind McCarthy and Rodgers is gonna do that franchise a lot of great things.\u201d<\/p>\n
Howard was drafted in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Regardless on if Aaron Rodgers returns in 2026, McCarthy has expressed excitement about working with the now second-year quarterback.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m real excited about Will Howard,\u201d McCarthy said during his introductory press conference. \u201cHe\u2019s someone that I thought really came on there at Ohio State. I\u2019m anxious to work with him.\u201d<\/p>\n
