Although there has been no reported movement on Robert Saleh\u2019s defensive coaching staff, that doesn\u2019t mean all is silent on the coaching front.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Saturday, the Titans<\/a> added another offensive assistant to the mix when they hired Cade Knox to replace Rob Riederer as the primary game management assistant. With the official title of offensive assistant\/game management, he will be the game-day in-box advisor to Saleh, with a focus on timeouts and challenges.<\/p>\n

This is a familiar position for Knox, who served in the same capacity for Brian Daboll in New York from 2022 through 2025.<\/p>\n

While this hiring may not cause a buzz, the importance of the position and what type of impact a birdseye view from the box can have can\u2019t be understated. Over the past two seasons, Brian Callahan struggled to get things right on the sidelines, and his in-game management and overall football knowledge were often questioned post-game during press availabilities and on social media.\u00a0<\/p>\n
