The Chicago Bears<\/a> improved in just about every facet in the 2025 NFL season. This was particularly true on offense as first-year head coach Ben Johnson<\/a> introduced new schemes that benefited stack Caleb Williams<\/a>. Indeed, Williams had one of the best single seasons in franchise history by a quarterback, with 58.1% completion percentage, a franchise record 3,942 passing yards, 27 touchdowns, seven interceptions, and a passer rating of 90.1.<\/p>\n

It also saw Chicago utilize their tight ends more frequently, and rookie Colston Loveland<\/a> led the team in both receptions (58) and receiving yards (713).<\/p>\n

This development, as well as the Bears\u2019 salary cap situation, has made wide receiver DJ Moore<\/a> a common name mentioned in potential trades.<\/p>\n

One potential trade that has been suggested was written by Christopher Kline of\u00a0Fansided<\/a>, who suggests that the Bears trade Moore to the Tennessee Titans:<\/p>\n

\u201cD.J. Moore put some incredible plays on tape this season, but he also gave up on a critical route\u00a0in the NFC Divisional Round, leading to an interception. Moore\u2019s reputation is a mixed bag. He\u2019s also entering the penultimate year of his contract, with Rome Odunze separating as the\u00a0Chicago Bears\u2019 WR1 and Caleb Williams\u2019 favorite target. Now might be the time for the Bears to cash in.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Tennessee Titans desperately need to find some help for Cam Ward. Say what you will about Moore, the dude is a monster and only two years removed from a career-high 1,364 receiving yards. Still 28, with gas left in the tank, this feels like a reasonable upside swing for a Titans team with cap space to burn. Ward has all the talent necessary for a star leap in year two, and new OC Brian Daboll is a tried-and-true playcaller. Moore can help the Titans turn this ship around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, Moore was originally acquired by Chicago in a trade with the Carolina Panthers in a deal that included Chicago\u2019s first round pick, which at the time was the first overall pick.<\/p>\n

It is hard to imagine that the Bears would get anything close to that in return again, but they could get some decent draft compensation should they decided to trade Moore.<\/p>\n
