Mason Cameron of Pro Football Focus (PFF) believes Tennessee will look at wide receiver and land not only one of their top-ranked free agents, but also a familiar face.

WR DeAndre Hopkins, Baltimore Ravens: 82.3 PFF Grade

Best Landing spot: Tennessee Titans

Although the former All-Pro receiver hasn’t seen a full-time role in some time, Hopkins continues to excel as a technician and veteran presence inside the locker room. Entering his age-34 season, Hopkins can still separate at a high level, as his 63.2% separation rate ranks top five among all pass-catchers this season.

With Calvin Ridley underperforming during his limited showing, Cam Ward was left with numerous first-year receivers playing key roles. As a result, the Titans’ receiving corps posted the NFL’s fifth-lowest passer rating when targeted (76.3). Bringing Hopkins in to mentor Ward and this young receiver room would pay off.

This is a hard one to totally get behind. When Hopkins was traded during the 2024 season, it was to a contender (the Kansas City Chiefs) in an attempt to help him win a Super Bowl championship and enhance his legacy. He looked past other opportunities to sign with the Ravens in 2025, a perennial playoff contender and the home of an All-World quarterback in Lamar Jackson.

While, in theory, it makes sense, the relationship between Hopkins and the organization appears strong. But his age (34) and the Titans’ youth movement don’t totally align for an aging wideout that is searching for a championship. One has to wonder not only about his fitness but also about whether there would be interest from both sides.

Expert NFL picks: Exclusive betting insights only at USA TODAY.

Feb. 1, 2026, 5:08 a.m. ET The Tennessee Titans enter the offseason with the most salary cap space…

[2061
95878,7,6,96009,96010,95882,95898,101688,97801,96705,95896,95888,95895,95899,95883,95889,526,394,2411,527,95881
post-721283","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-tennessee-titans","tag-accessfree","tag-football","tag-nfl","tag-sstssportsnfltitans","tag-sstsntitans","tag-tagamerican-football","tag-tagbaltimore-ravens","tag-tagcalvin-ridley","tag-tagdeandre-hopkins","tag-taglamar-jackson","tag-tagnational-sports","tag-tagnfl","tag-tagnfl-hub","tag-tagoverall-neutral","tag-tagsports-news","tag-tagtennessee-titans","tag-tennessee","tag-tennessee-titans","tag-tennesseetitans","tag-titans","tag-typestory
["GET
