NFL free agency is still more than a month away, but Denver Broncos<\/a> fans are already daydreaming about a potential spending spree.<\/p>\n Two years ago, the Broncos<\/a> were “constrained” in free agency after eating Russell Wilson’s contract. Last year, they were still eating some of Wilson’s leftover cap hit, and the team was “measured<\/a>” in free agency.<\/p>\n Now that Wilson’s contract is finally off the books<\/a>, will Denver be aggressive this spring?<\/p>\n “In terms of free agency, I always look at it as\u2026 I get a little worried about just the pure phrase of \u2018aggressive,\u2019 because you can be aggressive, but you want to do it in a smart way,” team owner and CEO Greg Penner said during his end-of-season press conference last week.<\/p>\n “So again, we\u2019ll be willing to spend if we see something that \u2014 we see a player that we think is going to add a lot of value here. We\u2019ll definitely take an aggressive approach, but we\u2019re also not just going to bring in somebody that\u2019s not right for this locker room. There\u2019ll be a lot of factors that we consider. I\u2019d say we\u2019ll be opportunistically aggressive.\u201d<\/p>\n Need a news break?
