The New York Jets<\/a> must make a decision on running back Breece Hall’s future as he is scheduled to hit the free agency market in March.<\/p>\n

Retaining Hall would be a logical move from New York, but a fresh start for both sides also makes sense. Stadium Rant’s Cameron Willey<\/a> predicts Hall will leave the Jets this offseason and sign with the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here is what Willy had to say about Hall and his potential fit in Kansas City:<\/p>\n

“Hall will likely leave the New York Jets in free agency, and the Chiefs need a strong run game without Patrick Mahomes under center. Both sides would benefit from each other and will likely make it happen.”<\/p>\n

The Chiefs have been interested in Hall dating back to the 2025 trade deadline<\/a>, so if he hits the market, it’s safe to assume Kansas City will have interest.<\/p>\n

Despite playing in an abysmal Jets’ offense, Hall was still productive this season, tallying 1,065 rushing yards and four touchdowns with 350 receiving yards and a score through the air.<\/p>\n

Adding Hall to the Chiefs’ offense would give Andy Reid’s offense a dynamic playmaker in the backfield and the explosiveness they’ve lacked for years.<\/p>\n

Kansas City is slated to be $54 million under the cap<\/a>, but general manager Brett Veach can create some cap room by restructuring contracts and making cuts.<\/p>\n

Spotrac projects Hall will land a $41 million contract over four seasons<\/a>, and if the Chiefs have the money to sign the 24-year-old running back, it’s a no-brainer move for Kansas City.<\/p>\n
