Derrick Bell of Steelers Now<\/a>, the Steelers are going to hire Scott Tolzien as their offensive coordinator. Bell was also the first to report that Pittsburgh would be hiring Patrick Graham as its defensive coordinator.<\/p>\nTolzien was the quarterbacks coach under Mike McCarthy with the Dallas Cowboys from 2023-24. He was also an assistant on the staff from 2020-22. Tolzien also played for McCarthy from 2013-15 as a backup to Aaron Rodgers. He currently serves as the quarterbacks coach for the New Orleans Saints.<\/p>\n

As a player, Tolzien was in the NFL from 2011-17, serving as a backup for the San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers, Packers, and Indianapolis Colts.<\/p>\n
