{"id":724612,"date":"2026-02-02T21:15:15","date_gmt":"2026-02-02T21:15:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/724612\/"},"modified":"2026-02-02T21:15:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T21:15:15","slug":"former-las-vegas-raiders-in-super-bowl-60-some-new-england-patriots-contributors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/724612\/","title":{"rendered":"Former Las Vegas Raiders in Super Bowl 60: Some New England Patriots contributors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">When Las Vegas Raiders fans tune into Super Bowl 60 on Sunday they will see a pretty big Silver and Black influence for the New England Patriors when they take on the Seattle Seahawks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The Patriots <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silverandblackpride.com\/las-vegas-raiders-news\/119838\/las-vegas-raidersnfl-divisional-round\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">feature four former Raiders<\/a> \u2014 linebackers Robert Spillane and K\u2019Lavon Chaisson, tight end Austin Hooper and tackle Thayer Munford.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Spillane, who the Raiders\u2019 signed in free agency in 2023, signed in free agency with the Patriots in 2025. Chaisson played 15 games with the Raiders last season and he signed with New England this offseason as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Hooper is a backup. He was a backup for the Raiders in 2023. Munford was a seventh-round pick by the Raiders and he played there from 2022-24. He signed with the Patriots this season, reuniting with former Raiders\u2019 head coach Josh McDaniels, who is the Patriots\u2019 offensive coordinator this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Spillane was a tackle machine for the Raiders and they missed him in 2025. He probably should have been retained.
