The experience included the Bulldogs\u2019 win over Charlotte. <\/p>\n<p>The 5-foot-10, 210-pound Spell chose to play for head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/coach\/kirby-smart-134971\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kirby Smart<\/a> and the Bulldogs over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/notre-dame-fighting-irish\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Notre Dame<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/ohio-state-buckeyes\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ohio State<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/oregon-ducks\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oregon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/miami-hurricanes\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Miami<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/michigan-wolverines\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Michigan<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/usc-trojans\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">USC<\/a> among others.<\/p>\n<p>Spell is tabbed by the Rivals Industry as the nation\u2019s No. 1 running back and No. 3 prospect overall. He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/georgia-bulldogs\/football\/2027\/industry-comparison-commits\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">becomes commit No. 6<\/a> for Georgia in the 2027 cycle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a great school, great program,\u201d Spell told DawgsHQ. \u201cThey\u2019re great at football.\u00a0As soon as I got the offer, they showed me love right off the rip.\u00a0That\u2019s something I always look for when I go places.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spell is a former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/penn-state-nittany-lions\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Penn State<\/a> commit that reopened his recruitment following the firing of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/coach\/james-franklin-131195\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">James Franklin<\/a> in October. Notre Dame was considered the early favorite after that, but the Bulldogs grabbed the momentum away after he visited Athens during the season.<\/p>\n<p>As a sophomore last fall, he broke out with a season that included rushing 157 times for 1,681 yards (10.7 YPC) and 24 touchdowns. He followed up again on that this season with another impressive year, totaling more than 1,500 all-purpose yards and 23 touchdowns through his first six games. <\/p>\n<p>Scouting new Georgia RB commit Kemon Spell<\/p>\n<p>Rivals National Scout Cody Bellaire loves this pickup for Georgia and sees a future star in Athens:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll-encompassing running back that can win with power and elusiveness on inside and outside runs. 5-foot-9, 200-plus pounds with tremendous twitch and leg drive. Plays with low pad level and an excellent center of gravity in order to deliver blows and take them himself. Has breakaway speed in order to hit the home run. Ran sub-11 in the 100m during his sophomore track season. Shows the ability to catch the ball away from his frame as a pass catcher.\u00a0Has all the physical and athletic tools to make an immediate impact at the next level and beyond.
