NFL fans are roasting Denver Broncos<\/a> star cornerback Patrick Surtain II for his ‘salty’ prediction for Super Bowl<\/a> LX.<\/p>\n

Surtain and the Broncos were eliminated from the playoffs at the hands of the New England Patriots<\/a> in this season’s AFC Championship game.<\/p>\n

New England outlasted Denver as the elements dominated the second half and led to a 10-7 victory<\/a> to reach the franchise’s 12th Super Bowl.<\/p>\n

At the Pro Bowl Games, Surtain was asked for his prediction on who would come home with the Lombardi Trophy for the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

‘Umm… 35-7, Seattle,’ Surtain replied.<\/p>\n

Fans were quick to jump on the Alabama<\/a> product, with many suggesting he was still hurt over the defeat to the Patriots.<\/p>\n

Surtain and the Broncos lost to the Patriots in the AFC Championship game this season<\/p>\n

‘Have fun playing flag football this week bum,’ one NFL fan wrote on X – referring to the Pro Bowl’s new format.<\/p>\n

Another said, ‘Oh he is salty.’ One comment read, ‘Damn he’s still upset i see.’<\/p>\n

‘Enjoy Cancun Pat! Here’s to hoping that you never play in a Super Bowl,’ another comment read.<\/p>\n

Surtain is coming off a Pro Bowl season and was named to the All-Pro second-team for 2025.<\/p>\n

The year prior, he won the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year award and earned his second career first-team All-Pro nod.<\/p>\n
