One of the best parts of the offseason each year is the rollout of \u201cBehind the Grind\u201d, which is the Los Angeles Rams<\/a>\u2019 video series where fans get an exclusive look inside the building \u2013 from free agency to the draft to training camp.<\/p>\n

The Rams released Episode 2 of this season and it mostly centered around the 2025 NFL Draft<\/a>. It started out with Jared Verse receiving his Defensive Rookie of the Year Award and then transitioned into preparing for the draft, setting up at the LAFD headquarters and then making the picks.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s fascinating to see how Les Snead and Sean McVay work in the war room, with the help of Tony Pastoors and Nicole Blake when it comes to making trades and moving around the board.<\/p>\n

The Rams traded back from No. 26 to 46 in a deal with the Atlanta Falcons<\/a>, and it\u2019s clear they couldn\u2019t have been more excited about getting a 2026 first-rounder in return.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was great. Couldn\u2019t have worked out any better,\u201d Snead said.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also clear the Rams were targeting Terrance Ferguson all along after trading back.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe question is, how do we get back up in here, while staying at 46 and 90, if at all possible. Let\u2019s just say it\u2019s Ferguson, we get him,\u201d McVay said as Day 2 was getting underway.<\/p>\n

The Rams always have complete buy-in when they draft a player, making that selection with conviction and a vision for how he\u2019s going to contribute and fit in on the depth chart. That was the case with Ferguson, as well as every other player the Rams drafted.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no question about that with Josaiah Stewart, who McVay loves.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is like (Braden) Fiske and (Jared) Verse. This guy transferred up, overachiever,\u201d he said, before excitedly saying, \u201cThat\u2019s right, Les!\u201d and playfully shoving his partner in crime.<\/p>\n
