The reputation does not match reality.<\/p>\n

There was plenty of disappointment and anger emanating from Giants fans Tuesday after the club hired former Bears head coach Matt Nagy as their new offensive coordinator<\/a>. Since he was the NFL\u2019s Coach of the Year in 2018, it seems the discourse around him has been overly negative.<\/p>\n

This is not to say he is a slam-dunk hire. It is clear that he wasn\u2019t at the top of the Giants\u2019 list<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But he has a strong r\u00e9sum\u00e9 and has been more successful than most have made him out to be.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The reputation does not match reality.
