Brady, who’s currently a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, a play-by-play analyst for FOX and has a dog that is the clone<\/a> of a previous pet, might not have a dog in the fight in his mind, but he’s got plenty of notable connections remaining in New England — and another big one in Seattle.<\/p>\n

As a Pats linebacker, Vrabel, New England’s current head coach, won three Super Bowls as a teammate of Brady’s.<\/p>\n

“I think he just has done everything the right way,” Brady said.<\/p>\n

Now in his third stop as New England offensive coordinator, Josh McDaniels spent 11 seasons as Brady’s OC.<\/p>\n

“Josh McDaniels, who’s been a great friend of mine as well,” Brady said. “And again, you root for people and you want them to have great performances. \u2026 I just wanna see good football. I wanna see good plays, good throws, good strategy, good decisions.”<\/p>\n

And, of course, Patriots owner Robert Kraft — who waived<\/a> the franchise’s four-year waiting period to enshrine<\/a> Brady into the team hall of fame — was with TB12 for all six of the club’s Super Bowl triumphs.<\/p>\n

There’s also a massive tie to the Seahawks, as Brady’s Raiders are expected to hire<\/a> Seattle offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as their next head coach.<\/p>\n

One might expect the greatest Patriots player of them all to be pulling for New England no matter the time, place or situation. Nonetheless, Brady has entered a new phase of his football journey.<\/p>\n

“I think there’s always different chapters in your life and you have different chapters and moments that you go through where you’re affiliated with a certain team,” Brady said. “At Michigan, and then I was with the Patriots for 20 years. I was with Tampa for three amazing years. I’ve been in broadcasting. Now I’m an owner of the Raiders. So those memories that I have are forever ingrained in me, and I’m indebted to all the people who worked so hard to help make our team successful.<\/p>\n

“And now in a different phase in my life, I really root for people and the people I care about, the people who I know the work that goes into what they’re trying to accomplish.
