It appears the Miami Dolphins<\/a> have added a wide receiver to their offseason roster.<\/p>\n

According to his agents, the Dolphins have signed wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. to a contract. It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but this will likely be a futures deal.<\/p>\n

“Congratulations to our very own Terrace Marshall Jr. on signing a contract with the Miami Dolphins,” Elite Loyalty Sports<\/a> wrote.<\/p>\n

A former second-round pick of the Carolina Panthers<\/a>, Marshall’s career has not come close to panning out.<\/p>\n

Over three seasons (36 games) with the Panthers, Marshall caught 64 passes for 767 yards and one touchdown before being cut loose by Carolina in 2024.<\/p>\n

Marshall latched on with the San Francisco 49ers<\/a>‘ practice squad after that, and then landed with the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a>, where he appeared in seven games (one start) in 2024 and tallied three catches for 41 yards.<\/p>\n

The LSU product spent the 2025 campaign on the practice squad of the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> but didn’t get into any games.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins are expected to have some turnover at wide receiver this offseason, and namely with Tyreek Hill, who is a prime cut candidate after suffering a major knee injury<\/a> last season.<\/p>\n

Miami also has D’Wayne Eskridge and Cedrick Wilson hitting free agency.<\/p>\n

Marshall will face an uphill climb in making a 53-man roster, but Miami might give him a better chance to do so than most teams given the circumstances.<\/p>\n
