At this stage, it makes financial sense for Miami to wait until after June 1 to move Ramsey. A trade over the next month would result in $25.213 million of dead money hitting the cap. Waiting until after June 1 to execute a trade would reduce that figure by more than $18 million for 2025 by splitting the charge over multiple years.<\/p>\n

Grier was asked if the plan was to wait until June 2 or after to move Ramsey.<\/p>\n
