After Pickens’ career best year in 2025 that featured the third-most receiving yards in the league with 1,429 and nine touchdowns, he could be in line for a similar amount of money, if not more.

So how would Lamb feel if his counterpart ends up making more than he does?

“I don’t care about that, I just want my man to get what he deserves,” Lamb said on San Antonio’s Sports Star radio station at the Super Bowl’s radio row. “As for me, I know I’m good. I’m fine. Me and my family, we’re straight, and I just want to compete at the highest level and I want to compete for a ring.”

Lamb and Pickens combined for 2,506 receiving yards in 2025, over half of the Cowboys’ total passing offense for the season. With that kind of performance together comes a big paycheck, in Lamb’s eyes.

“The money will come if you play good, so just play good and let everything else take care of itself,” Lamb said. “As for GP, he’s well deserving. He deserves every penny that he gets. And if he gets more than me, I’m going to congratulate him on that.”

As for the Cowboys, they haven’t been shy about the fact that they want to keep Pickens in Dallas. At the Senior Bowl in Mobile last week, COO/co-owner Stephen Jones said the team “certainly” wants him to return.

Pickens feels the same way, saying Monday at the Pro Bowl that he “would love to” remain with the Cowboys in the future. That said, Pickens acknowledged it’s out of his control, and wants what’s best for everyone.

“Just the ultimate best deal when it helps everybody…” Pickens said. “If it’s the best thing for both parties, then I’m willing to do anything. But like I said, I can’t control it, so I just kind of chill.”

Now, the wait continues as the Cowboys have a chance to keep one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL together, and a duo that could also become the highest-paid in the league as well.

SAN FRANCISCO – The biggest talking point of the offseason for the Cowboys is George Pickens’ pending free…

[2066
1121,230,229,257,2461,94906,7,467,417,1901,6
0":"post-730170","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-dallas-cowboys","8":"tag-ceedee-lamb","9":"tag-cowboys","10":"tag-dallas","11":"tag-dallas-cowboys","12":"tag-dallascowboys","13":"tag-featured-offseason-2026","14":"tag-football","15":"tag-george-pickens","16":"tag-news-all-news","17":"tag-news-tommy-yarrish","18":"tag-nfl
["GET
